Debris Sorting Rules

• Separate Piles: Keep vegetative yard debris (tree limbs, branches, leaves, shrubbery) in a separate pile from construction and demolition debris (damaged building materials like fencing and sheds).
• No Bags: Do not bag storm debris; place only loose debris along the public right-of-way.
• Keep Household Garbage Separate: Regular household trash and spoiled food must stay in your standard garbage containers and never mix with storm debris.
• Clear Utilities: Do not place debris near drainage ditches, storm drains, mailboxes, water meters, fire hydrants, low-hanging limbs, power lines, or transformers. Ensure roadways remain clear for emergency vehicles.
